J-pop group BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE has released their new single “SAY IT,” which is now available for digital streaming.
This track served as the theme song for their concert held at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on November 6.
Titled “BBZ EVOLUTION,” the concert marked a significant milestone in BALLISTIK BOYZ’s career. Tickets for this show sold out in just one minute when they went on general sale last September, an indication of the group’s growing popularity and dedicated fanbase.
The new single is also part of BALLISTIK BOYZ’s “SAY IT” EP, which will be physically released on December 4. This three-track release will feature the title track, the newly released “7” (created for their Nippon Budokan concert), and live footage from their May 2023 “HIGHER EX” tour. Fans can also look forward to a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the group’s 5th anniversary celebration.
BALLISTIK BOYZ, a seven-member group known for their dance, vocal, and rap skills, debuted on May 22, 2019.
The group is composed of HIDAKA RYUTA (日髙竜太), KANO YOSHIYUKI (加納嘉将), KAINUMA RYUSEI (海沼流星), FUKAHORI MIKU(深堀未来), OKUDA RIKIYA (奥田力地), MATSUI RIKI (松井利樹), and SUNADA MASAHIRO (砂田将宏).
Their self-titled first album not only topped the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking but also became the first Reiwa era debut artist album to achieve No. 1 on Billboard JAPAN Top Album Sales, Billboard JAPAN Hot Albums, and Spotify’s Viral Chart. This release garnered considerable attention and set the stage for the group’s success.
(Reiwa era is the current and 232nd era of the official calendar of Japan. It began on May 1, 2019, when Emperor Akihito’s eldest son, Naruhito, ascended the throne as Japan’s 126th Emperor.)
In February 2024, BALLISTIK BOYZ returned with their third major album “Back & Forth,” marking a highly anticipated comeback after two years. The12-track album not only features BALLISTIK BOYZ’s signature sound but also introduces three brand new songs, each distinct in its emotional depth and musical style.
Last April 12, the group kicked off their national tour BALLISTIK BOYZ LIVE TOUR 2024 “HIGHER EX.”
