Park Bo-gum arrived in Manila on Thursday night ahead of his fan meeting at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Photos and videos posted by Park Bo Gum Philippines and netizens on social media show the Korean actor at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, where he was seen waving and receiving flowers prepared by his fans.
Tens of thousands are expected to attend tonight’s Park Bo Gum 2025 Fan Meeting Tour [Be With You] in Manila, the Philippine leg of his ongoing tour.
“I can’t wait to share a beautiful evening with all of you,” Park Bo-gum told his Filipino Bogummies in a video released by event promoter Live Nation Philippines in July.
Park Bo-gum also visited the country in 2019 for his May Your Every Day Be A Good Day Asia tour.
In his latest series, “Good Boy,” he played an Olympic gold medalist in boxing who becomes a crusading cop.
Earlier this year, also he starred in the slice-of-life romance drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” where he portrayed the devoted husband of IU’s character.
Park Bo-gum rose to fame as the genius Go player Choi Taek in the 2015 K-drama “Reply 1988.” The role also earned him the moniker “Nation’s Little Brother” of Korea.
Meanwhile, his portrayal of Crown Prince Hyomyeong in the 2016 sageuk “Love in the Moonlight,” opposite Kim Yoo-jung, cemented his popularity as a Hallyu superstar. Following the series — which was among Hallyu Dorama’s K-drama recommendations during the pandemic — he was dubbed the “Nation’s Crown Prince.”
In 2020, Park Bo-gum starred in the coming-of-age drama “Record of Youth” with Park So-dam as his love interest and Byeon Woo-seok as his best friend. The series also featured a cameo by Park Seo-joon, who also had a fan meeting in Manila this year.
