Netflix announced that its upcoming South Korean romantic comedy series “Our Sticky Love” will premiere on August 7, 2026.
The series stars Jung Hae-in and Ha Young in a story about an elite Seoul prosecutor who loses her memory and ends up living in a rural town with a suspicious boxing coach.
The project reunites director Kim Jang-han and screenwriter Mo Ji-hye, who previously worked together on the 2021 series “You Raise Me Up.” Kim is also known for directing the television dramas “Do You Like Brahms?” and “My Demon.”
The story centers on Go Eun-sae, played by Ha Young, an ambitious prosecutor who wakes up in a countryside hospital with total amnesia. Unable to remember her past or prove her identity, she has only one apparent clue: Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach who suddenly appears at her bedside and claims to be her boyfriend.
Played by Jung Hae-in, Tae-ha lives in Yeot Village, a quaint countryside community in Gujin-gun known for its traditional Korean taffy shops. Eun-sae reluctantly moves in with him, setting up an unexpected cohabitation filled with suspicion, arguments, and growing romantic tension.
Netflix’s newly released teaser poster shows the pair standing outside a cozy country home, with Tae-ha wearing a friendly but suspicious smile as Eun-sae looks visibly confused. The teaser trailer contrasts Eun-sae’s former life as a confident Seoul prosecutor with the chaos of her new rural surroundings.
Despite losing her memory, Eun-sae retains her sophisticated city instincts and refuses to believe that the scruffy, sweatpants-wearing boxing coach could possibly be her boyfriend. Their comedic friction unfolds alongside hints of a darker mystery involving crime boss Baek Sang-gil, played by Heo Sung-tae.
Previously announced under the English title “Lovestuck,” “Our Sticky Love” will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 7.
