What price would you pay to make your wish come true?

When a new phone app begins making wishes come true for every user, this unexpected miracle quickly descends into a nightmare in “CODE” — a newly announced action crime thriller set to debut exclusively on Disney+.

Set in modern-day Korea, “CODE” follows Tae-joo, a morally and ethically bankrupt partner at a top law firm who will stop at nothing to succeed. Struggling in his current role, Tae-joo receives a mysterious invite for a new app that promises to grant every user’s wish. Seemingly too good to be true, the app begins to deliver on its promise, but soon after extracts a terrifying price.

Directed by You Su-min (“Weak Hero Class 1”), “CODE” stars Nam Joo-hyuk (“Vigilante,” “The East Palace”) as ethically bankrupt lawyer Yun Tae-joo, and Lee E-dam (“The Art of Sarah”) as ruthless prosecutor Park Ji-dam.

“CODE” is the latest series to be announced as part of the exciting slate of upcoming Korean content coming soon to Disney+. Fans of unmissable Korean content can also look forward to the upcoming return of “A Shop for Killers” Season 2, “Made in Korea” Season 2, as well as other eagerly anticipated titles including “Portraits of Delusion” (Working Title), “The Remarried Empress,” and so much more.
