Kim Min-gue
Kim Min-gue (also spelled as Kim Min-kyu) is a South Korean actor known for his roles in “The Heavenly Idol,” “Business Proposal,” and “Snowdrop,” among other K-dramas.
K-drama fans loved Kim Min-gue’s portrayal as the second male lead in “Business Proposal” opposite Seol In-ah. The pair won as Best Couple in the 2022 SBS Drama Awards. He also won the Excellence Award for an Actor in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama in the same year.
Kim Min-gue plays the title role in “The Heavenly Idol,” a fantasy rom-com based on a popular webtoon. The drama is about a demon-fighting high-priest from another dimension who woke up in our world in the body of a handsome member of an unpopular idol group. In “Snowdrop,” he was a North Korean agent.
On April 14, 2023, Kim Min-gue held his first fan meeting in the Philippines, “Heavenly Moment,” at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
Kim Min-gue’s first leading role was as a resurected king in the historical drama “Queen: Love and War.” His other projects include “So I Married the Anti-fan,” and “Backstreet Rookie.”
