Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” has revealed its character posters for the three main characters in the much-anticipated tvN drama. The romantic comedy K-drama starring Kim Seon-ho, Shin Min-a, and Lee Sang-yi will premiere this August 28.

‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ character posters

The “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” character posters give us a feel of each of the main leads. Kim Seon-ho as Hong Du-sik proudly shows off his numerous IDs and certifications, proving himself as a master of all trades. He is officially unemployed despite being a neighborhood handyman and village hero.

Meanwhile, Shin Min-a looks lovely and elegant as ever in her character poster as Yoon Hye-jin. Hye-jin is a pragmatic dentist, a total opposite of Hong Du-sik.

Completing the trio is Lee Sang-yi, who takes on the role of variety show production director Ji Seong-hyun.

New drama teaser

The latest “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” teaser video features more new scenes. We see cute interactions between Hong Du-sik and Yoon Hye-jin in a bar where Du-sik works. In another scene, we see the two inside Hye-jin’s dental clinic. She glances furtively at Du-sik’s lips before checking his teeth. Romance is in the air as the two have fun while doing laundry with their feet.

While the main leads seem to be getting on well, PD Ji-Seong-hyun arrives at the seaside village. He finds Yoon Hye-jin’s dental clinic. It looks like they had something going on in the past.

The next scene shows the three main characters eating together. Hong Du-sik looks on (with jealous eyes, perhaps?) as Yoon Hye-jin and Ji Seong-hyun talk about reuniting after 13 years. Hong Du-sik snatches a dumpling from Hye-jin who is offering it to Seong-hyun. Du-sik seems to be shaken by the events and heaves a sigh. Jealous Kim Seon-ho is looking cute as ever!

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” will be streamed exclusively on Netflix in the Philippines.
