Baekhyun in K-dramas
Baekhyun started his solo career in 2019 with the launch of “City Lights,” his debut extended play. In 2020, he released “My Time,” a ballad, for the OST of “Record of Youth,” which stars Park Bo-gum and Park So-dam.
Baekhyun himself also appeared in the 2016 K-drama “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” as 10th Prince Wang Eun. The prince was the first friend in Goryeo of the main female character Hae Soo, played by IU.
A year before that, he and his fellow EXO members played fictionalized versions of themselves in “EXO Next Door.” The web series also featured Moon Ga-young, whose character lives beside the house rented by Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, and Sehun.
Baekhyun recently launched his own agency, INB100 Entertainment, which will manage his solo career, as well as that of fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin and their EXO subunit, EXO-CBX. Meanwhile, EXO as a group will continue to remain under SM Entertainment.
