Rookie group Boyfriend will be coming to the Philippines to attend the first year anniversary celebration of the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines.
Composed of Kim Donghyun, Shim Hyunseong, Lee Jeongmin, Jo Youngmin, Jo Jwangmin and No Minwoo, it will be the group’s first time to visit the country. They will be appearing at the Hallyu Fest 2012, on July 28 at the SM Mall of Asia, Centerstage, an activity which is part of the month long anniversary celebration of KCC. Aside from the presence of Boyfriend, fans would also have the opportunity to showcase their talents during the event by joining the K-Pop Cover Dance Group Contest where the winner would represent the country in the K-Pop Dance Cover Festival in Gyeongju, Korea.  KCC has also prepared a Drama Cosplay Competition, photo contest, raffles and games for the enjoyment of Filipino fans.
Since debuting May last year, Boyfriend has released three Korean singles and completed their Japanese debut showcase at Nippon Budokan last July 1.
