So I know a lot of the fans were disappointed with the so-called Boys Over Flowers Special/Music Drama that was hyped up by Mnet. I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed since I didn’t really expect any major thing to happen. I mean, sooner or later fans (including me) would have to accept that the drama is over. As much as we love our own ships Jundi/Soeul/Jihoo-Jandi, we just have to let them go and move on and make better projects.

Anyway, back to the music drama/video or whatever they call it, Mnet actually decided to make more use of our BOF addiction by cutting the music video into two parts. The first part, which was shown last night was So Yi Jung and Song Woo Bin’s episodes and the two get to sing for each of their part.

For Yi Jung’s “episode,” our casanova is shown arranging a bouquet of flowers for someone. We assume that it’s for Ga Eul since we see old Soeul couple scenes from the drama. Honestly, I’m okay with the old footage because you know they couldn’t really make new scenes unless they get a go signal from Yoko Kamio. Plus this is a music video which promotes the new soundtrack so you’d have to expect that they’d use original clips from the drama. What troubled me though is that the PD didn’t even bother to use the real Ga Eul’s (Kim So Eun) voice at the end. That was pretty disappointing.

Woo Bin’s part was pretty vague for me since I watched the video without subs. Basically, I think Woo Bin gets dumped by a girl. Prince Song finally gets a girl but gets his heart broken. 🙁

More than the music video, I think what really pissed me is that it took me about two hours to get to see the video from Mnet. I tried to watch it on TVAnts but a different show was being aired so I went to their website. All I can say is that Mnet sucks. The video player only works on Internet Explorer (which I hate) plus it took really long to load. I was relieved when I finally heard Kim Joon’s voice over.

Next week we have Goo Jun Pyo and Yoon Ji Hoo’s episodes. Stay tuned.
