Astro’s Cha Eun-woo is Dunkin’ Philippines’ newest brand ambassador.
“It’s true and it’s Cha Eun Woo! There’s really #NothingLikeDunkin,” the donuts and coffee store posted on its social media accounts last night following a series of teasers.
The announcement posts came with a video of the “Island” and “True Beauty” actor greeting fans in Filipino and introducing himself in Korean.
“Kamusta po! “I’m Cha Eun Woo, the newest ambassador of your favorite pasalubong ng bayan, Dunkin Philippines!” he said at the start of the video.
Cha Eun-woo then answered a number of questions about Dunkin’s offerings. His answers revealed that he prefers munchkins over donuts but loves Choco Filled and Bavarian Filled donuts. He also shared that he likes his coffee iced.
Eating delicious food with the people he loves and having fun at work put him in a good mood, according to the Korean actor, singer, and model. Meanwhile, staying in bed after a busy day completes his day.
Asked about the tourist spot he wants to visit in the Philippines, Cha Eun-woo said he wants to go to Boracay. He said he has been to Cebu a few times already.
Speaking about his new endorsement, Cha Eun-woo said he feels “so good and happy to be with Dunkin’ Philippines.”
“I have fond memories of eating Dunkin’ with my family when I was young. I am so honored and happy to be part of Dunkin’ Philippines. Please love Dunkin’ as much as you love me,” he added.
Cha Eun Woo Dunkin’ PH fan meeting soon?
Cha Eun-woo also shared that he enjoys performing in front of his Filipino fans, and he really wants to meet them. In his message, he said he will see them “very soon.”
“I’ll be seeing you very soon. So please like, share, follow, and stay close to Dunkin PH’ social media accounts for our next meeting! Please show and give your support to Dunkin’ Philippines!” he said.
In August last year, Cha Eun-woo returned to the Philippines for the Manila leg of his “Just One 10 Minute Starry Caravan” series of fan meetings. He meet with his Filipino fans on August 6, 2022 at the Araneta Coliseum. He serenaded them with songs and shared more about himself in the mini-segments.
As of this writing, Dunkin’ PH has not yet announced any details of any possible fan meeting with Cha Eun-woo.
In January this year, Dunkin brought another Korean heartthrob — “My Love From the Stars” and “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” actor Kim Soo-hyun — to the Philippines for his “Nothing Like Dunkin” fan meeting.
