The quirky and humorous K-drama “Chicken Nugget” is now streaming on Netflix.
The bizarre comic-mystery drama series takes the viewers on a rollercoaster ride with Sun-man (Ryu Seung-ryong) as he navigates an absurd mission: to rescue his daughter, Min-ah (Kim Yoo-jung). She has turned into a chicken nugget after a mishap with a strange machine. Along for the wild ride is Baek-joong (Ahn Jae-hong), who has a secret crush on Min-ah.
With the show’s unique premise is the creative genius behind it. Ryu Seung-ryong (“Moving,” “Extreme Job”) steps into the shoes of Choi Sun-man, a desperate father and the owner of “More Than Machine.” He will stop at nothing to bring his daughter back to her human form. For his part, Ahn Jae-hong (“Fight for My Way,” “Reply 1988”) charms audiences as Ko Baek-joong, an intern at Sun-man’s company, secretly smitten by Min-ah.
Kim You-jung (“My Demon,” “Love in the Moonlight”) makes a special appearance as Choi Min-ah, who turns into a chicken nugget. Meanwhile, Jung Ho-yeon (“Squid Game”) also does a cameo as the top Korean culinary columnist, Hongcha.
