CJ Entertainment has released two official posters for the film. The first one shows Gong Yoo’s side profile. Gong Yoo plays the character of Ki Heon, a special agent who will protect Park Bo-gum’s character. As the caption for the poster suggests, this will be his last mission.

Another poster for the film shows Park Bo-gum’s silhouette. Park Bo-gum plays the role of the first human clone named Seo Bok, who “lives forever.”

In a short video uploaded by CJ Entertainment on their social media accounts, the two Korean superstars invite everyone to watch their much-anticipated movie. Gong Yoo says he’s excited and nervous because it’s been a while since his last project.

The First Human Clone

“Seo Bok” is said to be the first Korean film to tackle the topic of human cloning. Aside from being the first human clone, Seo Bok holds the key to immortality, which makes him an obvious target to greedy men.

In an interview for Vogue translated by Soompi, Park Bo-gum talks about his latest film.

“It’s a film that allows us to think about the dignity of humanity, and it carries the message that humans shouldn’t become overly ambitious. It also allows us to think about the advancement of life science technologies.”

Gong Yoo-Park Bo-gum Magic

“Seo Bok” is Park Bo-gum’s first movie in a long time and his biggest film role ever. He was last seen in the film “Coin Locker Girl” in 2015. Meanwhile, Gong Yoo was last seen in the 2019 film “Kim Ji-young: Born 1982.”

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding their latest project as this is the first time that we will see the two Hallyu stars together. Too bad Park Bo-gum won’t be able to promote his movie “Seo Bok” personally since he is now in the military.

“Seo Bok,” starring Park Bo-gum, Gong Yoo, Jo Woo-jin, and Jang Young-nam, was written and directed by Lee Yong-joo.
