Philippine clothing brand Penshoppe on Friday announced South Korean actress Han So-hee as its latest brand ambassadress.
In Penshoppe’s social media posts, it said Han So-hee brings understated elegance in its newest collection. It also released a video of the actress wearing its earth-tone pieces.
“I’m super excited to announce that I’m the newest member of Team Penshoppe! I’m thrilled to be working with Penshoppe and keep you guys on trend with the latest fashion. I can’t wait to see you guys over there in the Philippines,” Han So-hee said in a video message.
Han So-hee gained recognition for her role in “The World of the Married,” which recently had its Philippine version, “The Broken Marriage Vow.” Last year, she played lead roles in the K-dramas “Nevertheless” and “My Name.”
Last February, Penshoppe also welcomed Korean actor Song Kang as one of its international endorsers. He sported Penshoppe’s Retro pop collection for his first campaign with the Filipino brand.
Song Kang and Han So-hee starred together in “Nevertheless.” Meanwhile, Song Kang’s latest K-drama, “Forecasting Love and Weather,” recently streamed its finale episode on Netflix.
For her part, Han So-hee played the role of a lyricist in the Korean series “Soundtrack #1” opposite Park Hyung-sik. It was released exclusively on Disney Plus, which is not yet available in the Philippines.
Other Hallyu stars who have also endorsed Penshoppe include Sandara Park, Nam Joo-hyuk, Lisa of Blackpink, Ji Soo, and Cha Eun-Woo.
