The first “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”‘ teaser has been released, and we can’t help but smile. The drama teaser shows main leads Kim Seon-ho and Shin Min-a in their bedimpled glory. “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” will premiere on August 28 exclusively on Netflix in the Philippines.

The 30-second “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” teaser shows glimpses of the characters’ lives, and the coastal town setting. Kim Seon-ho is seen surfing wearing a wetsuit. In another shot he’s riding a boat. Meanwhile, we see Shin Min-a’s character in a pink suit, living the busy city life.

The two walk together side by side, and we see them flash their beautiful bedimpled smiles. The drama teaser will definitely hit you with good vibes.

‘Mr. Hong’ Drama Adaptation

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is a drama adaptation of the 2004 Korean film “Mr. Hong” or “Mr. Handy.”

Shin Min-a plays Yoon Hye-jin, a pragmatic dentist who opens up a clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin. Meanwhile, Kim Seon-ho plays Hong Du-sik, an unemployed master of all trades, who’s like the village hero because he’s always willing to help. An exciting rom-com awaits as the pair gets closer to each other.

Kim Seon-ho’s Latest Drama

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is Kim Seon-ho’s much-anticipated follow-up drama after his success in last year’s “Start-Up,” where he played the role of the beloved Han Ji-pyeong. While we still see him on his weekly variety show “2 Days 1 Night,” fans are excited to watch him flex his acting chops once again.

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” will premiere on August 28 and will have new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.
