Kim Seon-ho, a.k.a. Han Ji-pyeong of “Start-up,” is the latest Korean star to be featured in the Hallyu community of Globe Telecom. In a teaser for his upcoming fan meeting for Globe Kmmunity PH, Kim Seon-ho brings out the ‘kilig’ for his Filipino fans.
Gifts from Pinoy Fans
The five-minute video shows our favorite ‘Good Boy’ Kim Seon-ho opening gift boxes from his Pinoy fans. The Hallyu star, who admits to liking snacks and eating them secretly inside the car, was thrilled to receive snacks from the Philippines. The package included some shrimp flavored chips and dried mangoes. However, it was the fried pork skin or ‘chicharon’ that piqued his interest. Curious about its taste, Kim Seon-ho eventually tried the ‘chicharon’ and promised to share his snacks with the staff.
Kim Seon-ho reveals that he has been to Cebu once and enjoyed the food. Given a chance to visit the Philippines again, he says the first thing he would do is to try Filipino food and to go sightseeing. We can’t wait for ‘Good Boy’ to visit our shores!
Kim Seon-ho for Globe?
Kim Seon-ho adds to the growing list of Hallyu stars appearing in branded content and endorsements in the Philippines. Last December, Globe welcomed the K-pop group Blackpink as their newest brand ambassador.
Just last month, Smart Communications announced that BTS will headline Smart Communications’ ‘Passion With Purpose’ campaign. They join the ranks of Hallyu superstars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, who are also Smart endorsers. Smart has even teased another commercial this Valentine’s day, and fans are curious to see whether the reel and real life lovers will be seen together onscreen.
It remains to be known whether Kim Seon-ho will also star in a Globe commercial in the future, but fans are already getting excited. For now, Kim Seon-ho will be holding a fan meeting on March 21 for Globe Kmmunity PH. Team Good Boy will surely be looking forward to that.
