GMA Network on Friday premiered the official trailer of the Philippine adaptation of the K-drama “Start-Up.” The six-minute-and-thirty-second video featured the complete “Start-Up PH” cast led by Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo.

The trailer introduces the “Start-Up PH cast” and gives the viewers a general idea of the story. Fans of “Start-Up” will be pleased to see their favorite scenes being acted out by Filipinos.

Alden Richards plays the role of Tristan Hernandez, Filipino version of the much-loved Han Ji-pyeong, a.k.a. Good Boy. Bea Alonzo is Dani Sison, the Filipina Seo Dal-mi. In the “Start-Up” K-drama, Kim Seon-ho played the role of Han Ji-pyeong, while Bae Suzy was Seo Dal-mi.

Of course, other members of the “Start-Up PH” cast also appear in the trailer. Jeric Gonzales is Dave Navarro, the local Nam Do-san. For her part, Yasmin Kurdi is Ina Diaz, who is Won In-jae in the K-drama. Meanwhile, Gina Alajar takes the role of Lola Joy, the counterpart of Choi Won-deok, the beloved halmoni.

Also featured in the trailer are Boy 2 Quizon as Wilson Espiritu and Royce Cabrera as Jefferson Katipunan. They are Dave’s co-founders in Three Sons Tech. Gabby Eigenmann is Arnold Diaz, Ina’s stepfather, while Ayen Munji-Laurel is Alice, the mother of Dani and Ina.

Fans will also be happy to see Kim Domingo as lawyer Stephanie Rios, who will work with Dave and Dani. The actress earlier said she’s thrilled to be part of the Philippine version of “Start-Up.”

Other “Start-Up PH” cast seen in the trailer are Jackie Lou Blanco as Sandbox co-founder Sandraz Castillejos and Kevin Santos as Darwin, Tristan’s assistant. Tim Yap also appears as a tech executive Mr. A, while Kaloy Tingcungco is Spencer, Ina’s stepbrother. Niño Muhlach is also seen in the “Start-Up” trailer.

GMA announced the “Start-Up” Philippine remake last March. The TV network released the drama’s first video teaser in August.
