We all know it. Park Seo-joon is more than just the typical heartthrob. He’s an excellent actor and an overall nice guy. But that doesn’t stop us from appreciating the hard work he puts into keeping in shape. He’s known to be very diligent when it comes to his fitness goals and so we compiled the times when he proved that he’s every guy’s fitness goals.

Park Seo-joon recently guested in his best friend Choi Woo-shik’s reality show “Summer Vacation.”  Even while on “vacation,” the two are shown doing a mini workout at home. After swimming and playing on the beach, they head home to change their wet clothes.

For Park Seo-joon, the hardest part of playing the role of Ko Dong-man in the hit drama “Fight For My Way” was the physicality since there were a lot of fight scenes. Since he plays the role of an MMA fighter, the actor had to bulk up to be more convincing. We’re totally convinced.

His previous role in “Fight For My Way” helped him prepare for his role in the film “The Divine Fury” where he again played the role of an MMA fighter. In one of his interviews, Park Seo-joon revealed that he had to bulk up within a short period of time so he had to train eight hours a day. Now that’s dedication.

In the action comedy film “Midnight Runners,” Park Seo-joon and Kang Ha-neul are police trainees who get caught up in a kidnapping case. To catch the kidnappers, the two train hard and so the audience is treated to an intense workout scene.

“What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” co-star Park Min-young expressed her admiration for Park Seo-joon’s self-management. Even while exhausted, she says he continues to work out. The actor jokingly replied that he exercises to get rid of his puffy face. We highly doubt that.

Park Seo-joon proves that hard work and dedication do pay off especially when it comes to your fitness goals.
