MANILA, Philippines — Park Shin Hye, best known for her role as Go Mi Nam/Go Min Nyu in the 2009 drama “You’re Beautiful,” is currently in the Philippines for the first stop of her Asia tour fan meeting, “Kiss of Angel.”

Clad in a pink and white dress with detailed embroidery design, Shin Hye faced the press and her fans and gamely answered the questions they asked her, which of course includes her friendly relationship with “You’re Beautiful” and Hearstrings co-star, Jung Yong Hwa.  Shin Hye said they’ve become close because they’ve worked together in two dramas but have not seen each other recently due to their busy schedules. When asked what other roles she would like to try in the future, she gamely answered “action.” Can you imagine sweet Shin Hye kicking bad guys?

Her fan meeting is a celebration for her 10 years in the showbiz industry, and when asked what advice can she give to the new actors and actresses or her “hoobaes,” she said that they should not “lose themselves.”

Shin Hye admittedly cried after arriving in the Philippines because she was so happy with the warm welcome that her Filipino fans gave her at the airport.  One of them even took a leave from her work overseas once she learned about the fanmeeting because she cannot miss the chance to meet her idol.
