“Forecasting Love and Weather” actor Song Kang invites his fans to a virtual live fanmeet to be hosted by Netflix on Friday.
“See you on The Swoon,” the Korean star said in a fansign posted on the Instagram account of The Swoon, Netflix’s online community for global fans of K-content.
The one-hour live event where fans may interact with Song Kang will start at 8:00 p.m. Korean time — or 7:00 p.m. in the Philippines.
It will feature a question-and-answer portion and a quiz. Netflix also promises “many more engaging sessions” during the virtual Song Kang fan meet.
The online fan gathering will be streamed in English on The Swoon’s YouTube channel. According to Netflix, it will be available in traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Thai, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), and Vietnamese after the live event.
In his most recent Netflix K-drama, “Forecasting Love and Weather,” Song Kang plays the role of a junior meteorologist at the Korea Meteorological Administration. His character falls in love with his boss — played by Park Min-young — who also happens to be the ex-fiancée of his ex-girlfriend’s husband.
Song Kang has also starred in a number of other Netflix series including “Love Alarm,” “Sweet Home,” “Nevertheless,” and “Navillera.”
