Japanese boy group THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE held a fan meeting at Myunghwa Live Hall in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday, November 16.
Organized by THE STAR PARTNER, the event marked the group’s first fan meeting in Seoul in a year.
The fan meeting, titled “2024 THE RAMPAGE FAN MEETING DEAR RAVERS in SEOUL,” opened with their single “24karats GOLD GENESIS,” which topped the Oricon charts. This was followed by performances of “SWAG & PRIDE” and “100degrees.”
Formed in 2014 and officially debuting in 2017, THE RAMPAGE comprises 16 members selected through auditions. The group includes vocalists Riku, Kawamura Kazuma, and Yoshino Hokuto, along with performers LIKIYA, Zin, Kamiya Kenta, Yonamine Rui, Yamamoto Shogo, Iwaya Shogo, Urakawa Shohei, Fujiwara Itsuki, Takechi Kaisei, Hasegawa Makoto, Ryu, Suzuki Takahide, and Goto Takuma.
Rui addressed the audience in fluent Korean, and other members expressed their gratitude to their fans in the language.
The event included activities such as member talk sessions that offered a glimpse into their candid thoughts. In the 99-second mission relay game, members were split into two teams led by Zin and Rikiya and competed in team challenges.
Highlights included Itsuki’s impression of a scene from “The Penthouse: War in Life” and Takahide’s performance of “Gangnam Style.”
While the event was billed as a fan meeting, THE RAMPAGE delivered a full concert-like experience with three additional performances. They concluded the event with a rendition of “Endless Happy Ending.”
“It was wonderful to reunite with our Korean fans this year. We hope to hold a full tour in Korea someday,” Rui said in his closing message.
The members also expressed their intention to return and their appreciation for their fans’ continued support. (PR Newswire)
