Netflix on Tuesday released the official teaser of the Korean dystopian action film “Badland Hunters.”

“Badland Hunters” stars Don Lee, known for his roles in “Train to Busan” and Marvel’s “Eternal.” It is directed by Heo Myeong-haeng and is scheduled for global premiere on Netflix on January 26, 2024.

In “Badland Hunters,” Don Lee is Nam Sam, a hunter shown in the teaser battling foes, including a crocodile, in a chaotic post-apocalyptic Seoul. The film also features Lee Hee-joon, Lee Jun-young, Roh Jeong-eui, and An Ji-hye.

“The teaser trailer offers glimpses of high-octane action and a gripping storyline, setting the stage for a cinematic experience that blends visceral combat scenes with a compelling narrative,” Netflix said in a press release. It added that Nam San’s combat scenes “highlights the intense action choreography that is a hallmark of Director Heo’s work.”
