“Peninsula,” a movie featuring events that take place four years after the zombie outbreak in “Train to Busan,” is set to premiere on July 15 in South Korea.

Actor Gang Dong-won plays the role of former soldier Jeongsuk, who survived the attacks and was able to escape abroad. The new adventure begins when he returns to Korea on a mission and unexpectedly meets other survivors.

Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, “Peninsula,” is part of Cannes’ Official Selection 2020.
