Korean actor Ahn Bo-hyun yesterday arrived in the Philippines for his first fan meeting in the country.
In its posts on social media, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced Ahn Bo-hyun’s arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
“Guess who just touched down in Manila! Korean heartthrob Ahn Bo Hyun has arrived for his ‘HELLO!’ Fan Meeting Tour, landed on May 24th at #NAIA Terminal 1 via KE 621,” MIAA said.
Hours after his arrival, he held a press conference at the Novotel Hotel in Quezon City.
Ahn Bo-hyun will meet his fans at tonight’s “Hello,” the “2024 Ahn Bo Hyun Asia Tour Fan Meeting in Manila.” The fanmeet will be at the New Frontier Theater, also in Quezon City.
In a video posted earlier this month by events promoter Wilbros Live, Ahn Bo-hyun invited his fans to attend tonight’s fanmeet.
“I’m so nervous and excited to have my first-ever fan meeting in the Philippines. Let’s make unforgettable memories together,” the actor said.

Ahn Bo-hyun was most recently seen in the Disney+ drama “Flex X Cop,” where he played the role of a chaebol who became a detective.
“I was quite pressured to take on this hero role. He’s a little bit annoying but also quite endearing,” he said during a press conference for the series last January.
In Netflix’s reincarnation drama “See You in My 19th Life” that streamed last year, he was also a chaebol. In the series, he was the introverted childhood love of the most recent past life of Shin Hye-sun’s character.
In 2021, he starred opposite Kim Go-eun in the webtoon-based K-drama “Yumi’s Cells” and in the Netflix series “My Name” with Han So-hee.
Ahn Bo-hyun started as a model and made his acting debut in the revenge drama “Golden Cross” in 2014. He then appeared in supporting roles in a number of K-dramas including “Descendants of the Sun.”
In 2020, Ahn Bo-hyun got his breakout role as the main villain in “Itaewon Class.” He considers this work in this project with Park Seo-joon as a turning point in his career. His acting in “Itaewon Class” also earned him a number of awards and nominations.
