BTS has released a teaser for their upcoming English language single “Dynamite.”

Big Hit Entertainment posted the logo on their social media, showing the title of the new BTS digital single scheduled to drop on August 21.  Together with the announcement, all BTS’s official social media platforms have been updated with the “Dynamite” logo and the pink version of the BTS logo.

In their recent livestream on V Live, the group revealed that their new English single is an upbeat song.  Amid the ongoing global pandemic, BTS said they wanted to revitalize their fans and uplift their energy with their new song.

BTS has previously released English and predominantly English songs in the past, which include “MIC Drop” and “Waste It On Me.”

BTS’s 4th regular studio album “Map of the Soul: 7,” which was released in February, ranked number one on the Gaon chart in terms of album sales.  4.2 million copies were sold in the first half of 2020.

The K-pop group also set a Guinness record for the most number of viewers of a live streamed music concert. 756,000 fans from more than 100 countries watched BTS’ online concert “Bang Bang Con: The Live.” The concert was live streamed from Seoul last June 14.
