Korean entertainment company CJ ENM has announced the lineup for the three-day KCON LA 2024, which will be held next month in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.
ENHYPEN, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, and NMIXX, among others, are expected to attend KCON LA from July 26 to July 28 at the Crypto.com Arena, LA Convention Center, and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza.
According to CJ ENM, KCON LA 2024, which is presented by Samsung Galaxy as the title sponsor, has evolved into a full-fledged K-POP Fan & Artist Festival this year with more fun and more opportunities for intimate connections between fans and artists.
With the theme “Museum of Poppia,” KCON LA 2024 will feature various stages, performances, and content. The organizers envision the festival to be a unifying force that transcends borders and generations using music and culture as a universal language.
KCON will feature a vibrant festival atmosphere with expanded multi-stages and various K-pop content and programming. KCON LA 2024’s four major stages are “M Countdown,” “KCon Stage,” “Meet & Greet,” and “Showcase.”
At “KCon Stage,” fans will be able to meet artists on a larger scale than ever before in the U.S. The “Showcase” stage will introduce talented rookies who have not yet made it to the U.S. and give them the opportunity to meet with a global audience. KCON LA offers more ‘intimate connections’
“Last year’s KCON LA marked a turning point and focused on expanding both the size and scope of KCON, such as having a major media partner for the first time and we are excited to build on this momentum,” said Harry H.K. Shin, Head of Music Entertainment at CJ ENM.
“As a flagship K-pop Super Festival, we will make every effort to serve as a platform for launching K-pop artists’ global debuts and provide more opportunities than ever for intimate connections between fans and artists,” he added.
CJ ENM’s KCON, the world’s largest K-pop and K-culture festival, was also held in Hong Kong and Japan this year.
Since 2012, KCON has been a driving force in fostering a global community around K-pop and demonstrating the immense power of K-pop fandoms. KCON has become a recognized platform for launching the careers of K-pop artists on the international stage with having about 1.83 million attended fans over the past 12 years. The festival boasts a history of iconic moments, such as BTS’s performance in 2014 and the groundbreaking collaboration between G-Dragon and Missy Elliott.
