Globe created memorable experiences for Filipino Blinks while promoting sustainable practices at BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK concert in Bulacan.
Over 100,000 converged at the Philippine Arena and the Philippine Sports Stadium for the two-day event, where Globe treated BLACKPINK fans to a “Pink Carpet” experience.
Globe deployed 15 electric vehicle shuttles for BLINKs
Globe gave away 15,000 freebies, from various BLINK merchandise to 1GB data for TikTok. Fans also claimed 87 tickets, 40 soundcheck access passes, and 150 official merch through KmmunityPH activities and Globe Rewards.
Electric vehicle shuttles also transported more 600 superfans to the main venue and back to Metro Manila. In collaboration with Global Electric Transport (GET), Globe deployed 15 EV shuttles that turned into party buses. In those trips, fans participated in fun games and activities and got the chance to win prizes. To ensure the safety of passengers, each shuttle had an authorized security officer and a trained first-aid responder.
On social media, BLINKs expressed their appreciation for Globe’s freebies and shuttle service.
“Worth it ‘yung sakit ng paa namin kakalakad sa mga freebies,” Sharmaine Penalosa posted.
Meanwhile, another fan, Rio, shared his appreciation in KmmunityPH. “Thank you so much Globe Telecom and Global Electric Transport sa ligtas na paghatid sakin sa BLACKPINK BORN PINK Tour in the Philippines. I’m so thankful kasi napakarami pong freebies like BLACKPINK Globe merch, strawberry Krispy Kreme, pizza and tote bag with cute pick-a-roo photocards, may dagdag pang BLACKPINK binder collection ko hehe,” he wrote.
Stan4Good: Supporting underserved communities through Globe Rewards
Globe also encouraged its customers to support its partner communities. Using their Globe Rewards points, subscribers may donate to the Hapag Movement via the GlobeOne app. The Hapag Movement is Globe’s banner program that provides livelihood and feeding programs to families experiencing involuntary hunger.
The advocacy was present in Globe’s across on-ground activities for the BORN PINK concert. These included Random Play Dance with Blackpink Ph; the GG Truck activation with Mineski Slash; and PhotoMan stations in Bustos, Bulacan, and the Makati City Hall. It was also seen at the Globe BLINKSPHERE booth at the Philippine Sports Stadium and at the Team Bahay event at Vertis North.
Fans also participated in promos and activities for Hapag Movement even before the concert. They joined the raffle for the soundcheck access passes and the official signed merchandise. A total of P978,080 Rewards points were donated to the advocacy from raffle entries submitted.
“We are glad to have delivered an extraordinary ‘Pink Carpet’ experience for our cherished Filipino BLINKs.
