Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” the new drama starring Kim Seon-ho and Shin Min-a is just around the corner. Update: Leading up to its premiere, tvN has released new video teasers and more photos of the two leads highlighting their intense chemistry.

New Video Teasers

New video teasers for “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” are now up, which tell us more about the main characters. We see Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-a) in her dental clinic by the seaside. She seems to be bumping into Hong Du-sik (Kim Seon-ho) often since his character is a master of all trades in their small town.

There’s that familiar dog vs. cat fights between the main leads, which fuel an even more intense chemistry. We can’t wait to see the two fall for each other!

In a 15-second teaser released earlier, we see the setting of the drama, the seaside village of Gongjin. Yoon Hye-jin looks like she has lost her way. She sees Hong Du-sik who had just come out from surfing. The two exchange looks, and we can feel that electric tension.

The “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” promo materials have certainly induced excitement from Kim Seon-ho fans, who have been waiting patiently for his K-drama comeback.

New Photos of ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ Leads

tvN has also released more photo stills from what looks like the premiere episode of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”

In one photo, Yoon Hye-jin is sitting on the beach looking at Hong Du-sik who’s riding the waves. In another photo, we see the two leads talking to each other. Meanwhile, we see Yoon Hye-jin following Hong Du-sik in the rest of the photos.

Kim Seon-ho’s New Drama to Premiere This Month

The caption in the teaser video says “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is a “healing romance between realist dentist Yoon Hye-jin and all around master Hong Du-sik.” Kim Seon-ho’s acting chops will again be tested as he plays the role of Hong Du-sik who’s pretty much like the village hero. Shin Min-a is his total opposite who’s the typical city girl. Based on the original movie “Mr. Hong” from which the K-drama was adapted, it looks like the two will get off the wrong foot at first. Can’t wait to see how the romance unfolds!

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is set to premiere on August 28. New episodes will be up every Saturday and Sunday on Netflix.
