“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” promises to be “a perfect beach romance story” as described by tvN. The poster shows the two main leads in a beach setting. Shin Min-a walks behind Kim Seon-ho, who is wearing a backpack. The caption says, “The moment our hearts started to dance.”

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” tells the story of Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-a), a pragmatic dentist who opens up a dental clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin. There she meets the village hero Hong Du-sik (Kim Seon-ho), who’s unemployed but is a master of all trades. As they say, opposites attract as the pair get to know each other. Lee Sang-yi also stars in this drama.
“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” will have a total of 16 episodes, with new episodes every Saturday and Sunday. The pilot episode will be shown on August 28 (Saturday) at 9 p.m. on tvN. Meanwhile, viewers in the Philippines will be able to catch new episodes on Netflix an hour after its release in Korea.
