Kim Seon-ho seems to be the newest addition to Bench clothing’s roster of Korean celebrity endorsers based on some clues. Here’s why we think Bench is hinting on the “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” star in their teaser video.
Kim Seon-ho for Bench?
Bench released a 42-second video of the photoshoot showing a fair-skinned male wearing their latest fashion. They purposely did not show the face of the model. However, his features seem to look a lot like Kim Seon-ho.
Another hint is the text in the video that says “Coming Soon” where they used the colors of the “Start-Up” logo. Kim Seon-ho’s fame skyrocketed especially in the Philippines after his unforgettable role as Han Ji-pyeong in “Start-Up.”
If that isn’t enough to convince us that it’s Kim Seon-ho, Bench announced that their latest global Bench setter is “Coming HOME.” Seon-ho was last seen on the small screen in the hit drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”
‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ anniversary
Kim Seon-ho’s fans are ecstatic about the actor’s possible endorsement. Right after the release of the teaser video, Kim Seon-ho trended on Twitter. The buzz also came in time for the first anniversary of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”
Last year, Globe Telecom also welcomed Kim Seon-ho as its brand ambassador. Globe K-mmunity also organized a virtual fan meeting with the actor known as Good Boy.
Meanwhile, Seon-ho has been making waves recently for his return to theater in the stage play “Touching the Void,” which will run until September in Seoul.
Global Bench Setters
Bench’s newest global endorser will be announced in time for its 35th anniversary. He will join the ranks of the brand’s present and former Korean celebrity endorsers like Kim Soo-hyun, Hyun Bin, Wi Ha-joon, Park Seo-joon, Ji Chang-wook, Lee Min-ho, and more.
The brand is also known to hold fan events, the latest of which is Kim Soo-hyun’s “One Extraordinary Day” at the SM MOA Arena last June 10. Will we see Kim Seon-ho for Bench in the Philippines soon? We sure hope so!
