Ji Chang-wook and Park Bo-gum are among the well-known Korean celebrities who trade in their stardom for 72-hours of normality in “My Name Is Gabriel” — a new reality show coming June 21 to Disney+.

Celebrities in Korea often struggle to live normal lives. Their schedules are filled with starring roles and cover shoots. Regular headlines keep them front and center in the public’s mind.

“My Name Is Gabriel” will transport some of them elsewhere to live someone else’s life for 72 hours. An AI algorithm will assign them a life that they will live away from their friends, family and publicists. They will go as far as Chiang Mai in Thailand, Chongqing in China, Guadalajara in Mexico, and Dublin in Ireland. They will be challenged to fit into their new homes, live with a new family, and work someone else’s job.
