Netflix has released the main trailer and poster for “Squid Game” season 2.
The show premieres on December 26, and the trailer teases intense games and dramatic character clashes.
“Squid Game” follows a group of desperate contestants who risk their lives to win the 45.6 billion won cash prize in a mysterious extreme survival game.
Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) returns, facing off against the mysterious Front Man (Lee Byung-hun). The new games are even deadlier, and Gi-hun is determined to end them. Can he stop the system, or will it kill more victims?
The trailer also introduces new cast members Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-wook, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, and Jo Yu-ri, who add fresh twists to the story.

Meanwhile, the poster, called “Round and Round,” shows the players in green tracksuits, led by Seong Gi-hun, running forward. The background features a carnival-like setting with a carousel and decorations.
“Squid Game,” Netflix’s most-watched show, shocked us all with its violent theme amid the backdrop of childhood games.
“The countdown is on. As alliances shift and rivalries ignite, ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 raises the stakes in ways fans could never have imagined,” Netflix wrote in a news release.
