Netflix has released the official trailer for “The Sound of Magic,” a fantasy musical K-drama.

The two-minute-and-twenty-seven second trailer gives fans a closer look into the narrative, visuals, and relationships between the three main characters.

In the “The Sound of Magic,” Yoon Ah-yi (Choi Sung-eun) has lost her dreams in the face of reality. Na Il-deung (Hwang In-youp), for his part, is under pressure to pursue his dreams. An unexpected yet enchanting story about being a grown-up unfolds as the two encounter an enigmatic magician, Ri-eul (Ji Chang-wook).

“The Sound of Magic” official trailer begins with an encounter between Ah-yi and Ri-eul at an abandoned theme park where the magician supposedly lives. Il-deung is shown as being suspicious of Ri-eul. Meanwhile, the magician introduces the troubled Ah-yi to his enchanting and colorful world.

Piquing interest about his character, Ji Chang-wook hinted: “Ri-eul is a mysterious character that will surely intrigue the audience! The line between vice and virtue is irrelevant when it comes to Ri-eul as he constructs and lives in his own world.”

Hallyu star Ji Chang-wook last appeared in “Lovestruck in the City” opposite Kim Ji-won. On the other hand, Hwang In-youp recently starred in “True Beauty.” For her part, Choi Sung-eun played a supporting role in “Beyond Evil.”

“The Sound of Magic” is based on the popular webtoon “Annarasumanara.” Its director, Kim Sung-youn, also directed “Itaewon Class.” He is teaming up again with “Love in the Moonlight” writer Kim Min Jeong.

This spring, “The Sound of Magic” invites global audiences to a world of enchantment and heartwarming stories. It will be released on May 6, only on Netflix.
