Rain and Kwon Sang-woo get together for some reminiscing in Rain’s web variety show “Season B Season.” The ‘OG’ Hallyu leading men are apparently good friends and have bonded over their mutual love for fitness.
‘Get in the Car’
For the “Get in the Car” segment of the show, Rain caught up with Kwon Sang-woo, who was filming a project. Rain even had to wait for him to finish since Kwon Sang-woo’s filming started late.
While driving to their restaurant destination, the two talk about their married lives. For those who aren’t aware, Kwon Sang-woo is married to actress Son Tae-young, and they have two kids together. Kwon Sang-woo shared that they recently celebrated their 12th year wedding anniversary in a jazz bar where he sang a song for his wife. He tells Rain that he feels like they’re still dating since his wife doesn’t even pass gas in front of him.
Meanwhile, Rain, who has two kids with wife Kim Tae-hee, flexed that they still kiss each other every morning and at night. The conversation gets funny when Kwon Sang-woo tells him that kissing is something they should do without a fixed schedule.
Fitness fanatics
Aside from being both married with two kids, Rain and Kwon Sang-woo are also fitness fanatics. Rain boasts that they’re good husbands since they workout after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Kwon Sang-woo says he doesn’t even go out and just works out at home.
After scarfing down their cheeseburgers, the two decide to have a push up showdown where the loser agrees to pay for a sashimi meal. In the end, Rain wins the tight competition, and the two go off to have their second dinner.
‘OG’ leading men
Before becoming family men, Kwon Sang-woo and Rain were two of the most sought-after leading men in the early 2000s.
Kwon Sang-woo recalls one of his famous dramas “Stairway To Heaven,” where Kim Tae-hee happens to be the second female lead and villain. While listening to some songs from the drama, Kwon Sang-woo even recreates one of the scenes where he shouts the name of the female lead Han Jung-suh. Filipinos will always remember him as Cholo from the tearjerker drama.
Meanwhile, Rain became a household name through the hit drama “Full House,” where he starred opposite Song Hye-kyo. Both of their dramas were big hits in the Philippines that they even had Filipino remakes.
It was also revealed that the two are good friends with another ‘OG’ leading man Song Seung-heon. Nice to know that these Korean A-listers are getting along well.
