Thousands of Filipino Super Junior fans waited hours in a mall in Quezon City, Wednesday afternoon, to see their favorite idols up close and personal. Two of the members, Siwon and Donghae came to the country to attend the press launch for the local clothing brand, Bench, that they are currently endorsing.
Filling the venue to the brim, screams and shouts of excitement were heard whenever behind-the-scenes video of the shoot were shown, even before the official event has started. Majority of the fans lined up even before the mall opened to be able to secure a good spot to see SiHae.
At around 5:30 in the afternoon, the host encouraged the fans to chant SiHae and after a few moments, the two appeared in a matching green-blue ensemble. Looking very fashionable, the Siwon and Donghae greeted their fans and gamely answered questions during the Q and A portion, eliciting screams when they said that they wanted to go to Boracay with the Filipino E.L.Fs.
Some fans were also lucky to receive posters and t-shirts signed by Siwon and Donghae. Before the event ended, Siwon and Donghae took a selca with the fans as their background and posted it in their twitter accounts.
The event did not last for more than an hour but it was more than enough for the Filipino fans who were able to see their idols from Super Junior for the fourth time. Super Junior has already held two concerts and a commercial filming early this year.
Siwon and Donghae were the first Korean singers to endorse a Filipino clothing brand, with City Hunter’s Lee Min Ho being signed as its latest image model.
