Wondering where to watch Jennie’s upcoming variety show? “Apartment404,” from tvN and Amazon, will be available on Prime Video in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, starting Friday, February 23. Episodes will be released weekly every Friday.

“Apartment404” is an 8-episode “retro reality variety program,” according to Prime Video. It stars variety veterans Yoo Jae-seok, Cha Tae-hyun, Yang Se-chan, and Oh Na-ra (“Alchemy of Souls”), Jennie of BLACKPINK, and variety newbie Lee Jung-ha (“Moving”).

The show is set in an apartment building where the six residents trace the truth behind extraordinary events that occur in their residences. The events are based on true stories. Each episode will have a unique setting and take place in a different period. The six cast members will split up into two teams, along with special guests. One of the teasers shows Yeonjun of TXT as a guest. The teams compete against one another. However, only one person will be crowned the winner of the show at the end of the series.

‘Apartment404’ offers a unique concept, diverse cast

“Apartment404” is helmed by producing director Jeong Cheol-min who has worked on hit variety programs including “Sixth Sense” and “Running Man.” Top comedian and host Yoo Jae-seok has previously worked with PD Jeong Cheol-min in these shows. He is reunited with actress Oh Na-ra who was a cast member of “Sixth Sense.” “Moving” castmates Cha Tae-hyun and Lee Jung-ha are also reunited in “Apartment404.”

Meanwhile, Blinks are in for a treat as BLACKPINK’s Jennie finally returns to a variety show with “Apartment404.” She was last seen in the variety series “Village Survival, The Eight” in 2018.

Aside from Jennie, Hallyu fans are looking forward to rising star Lee Jung-ha who makes his variety show debut in “Apartment404.” Lee Jung-ha charmed audiences worldwide last year in “Moving.” He played the role of Kim Bong-seok, a high school student with the ability to fly.

With its unique concept and diverse cast, “Apartment404” looks like an engaging show from the get go.

“Apartment404” premieres on Prime Video on February 23.
