Kim Seon-ho will return to Manila in April for another fan meeting, this time sponsored by Filipino food brand UFC.
The “2024 Kim Seonho Asia Tour in Manila ‘Color+Full’” will happen on April 13, 6 p.m., at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, according to UFC and event promoter Makeitlive.
The organizers have yet to announce the ticket prices and other fan meeting details.
Kim Seon-ho’s “Color+Full” Manila fan meeting is part of his Asia tour this year. The tour will also include the cities of Bangkok in Thailand, Ho Chin Minh in Vietnam, Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, Seoul in Korea, and Jakarta in Indonesia.
UFC, a NutriAsia brand, has been known for its sweet and spicy banana ketchup. It has since included rice mix, instant soup, bagoong, gravy, cooking oil, sinigang mix, and canned vegetables in its portfolio. UFC now also offers spices and various sauces: chili sauce, hot sauce, and cooking sauces.
The UFC Meal Masters Facebook page earlier posted a teaser hinting at a new Korean celebrity endorser. “An Oppa is joining the UFC family! Coming Seon,” the teaser said.
Fans of Kim Seon-ho welcomed the UFC teaser and the announcement of the fan meeting. Some of them said he should be shown eating corn dog with UFC ketchup. A corndog stand was a prominent element in his K-drama “Start-Up.”
Two fan meetings and AAA
The Filipinos’ favorite good boy last visited the Philippines on December 14, 2023. He attended the 2023 Asia Artists Awards in Bulacan, where he was among the awardees in the AAA Celebrity Award and AAA Best Artist (Actor) categories.
“Thanks for cheering me on, my fans, my family, and everyone else. I’ll come back!” Kim Seo-ho said in December.
Kim Seon-ho also met up with his fans – called Seonhohadas – twice in the Philippines last year. On January 23, 2023, he attended a sold-out event at the SM MOA Arena in Pasay City. With around 10,000 fans present, it was the biggest gathering of Seonhohadas at that time.
During his interview with host Kring Kim, Seon-ho shared what he has always wanted to tell his loyal supporters who never left his side: “Thank you so much for always being with me during the hard times.”
On July 22, 2023, he returned for the “Love to Meet Our Good Boy,” fan meeting organized by Filipino clothing brand Bench.
He debuted on the large screen last year in the action-thriller film “The Childe,” where he played an assassin pursuing a Filipino-Korean boxer.
Kim Seon-ho rose to popularity as Han Ji-pyeong, a handsome and wealthy venture capitalist, in the 2020 K-drama “Start-Up.” He then played Hong Du-sik, a jack-of-all-trades, in 2021 romantic comedy drama “Hometown Cha-cha-cha.”
